Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz pasta such as fettuccine or spaghetti
  • 1 lb flank steak or sirloin thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce adjust to heat preference
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes optional for extra heat
  • Green onions chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook 12 oz pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  • Season 1 lb steak with salt and pepper.
  • Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook steak for 4-5 minutes, then remove and set aside.
  • Add 4 minced garlic cloves to the skillet and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, chili garlic sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Return steak to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  • Add pasta to the skillet and toss until combined.
  • Serve with green onions and sesame seeds.
